Radiation Therapy

IZI provides several products for Radiation Therapy. In Simulation, use the Indicator™ Radiopaque Markers and Multi-Modality Markers for reference point marking and ShadowForm® Markers to outline the pelvic region. For Treatment, use the I.Z. Port® Markers to outline the portal field. Use IZI Gold Fiducial Markers and X-Mark Fiducial Markers to localize targets that move with respect to external skin markings. IZI provides you with all the marking tools you need to better verify localization and reduce your number of fractions.

IZI Gold Fiducial Markers
IZI Gold Fiducial Markers are implantable markers used in IMRT, CRT, and IGRT treatment to provide real-time accurate localization of the treatment volumes. These markers are a necessity during cases where the treatment volume moves with respect to external skin markings. IZI Gold Fiducial Markers can be used in soft tissue cases like the prostate, liver, and lung.

Indicator™ Radiopaque Markers
In Radiation Therapy, Indicator™ Radiopaque Markers are used in Simulation and Treatment Planning by outlining portal fields and providing clear and accurate reference points with no artifacts. Use the Indicator™ Radiopaque Markers to identify masses, scar tissue, moles, birth marks, nipples, or any point of interest. Indicator™ Radiopaque Markers are cost effective, flat, disposable markers that will not indent tissue.

Indicator™ Radiolucent Markers
Indicator Radiolucent Markers are designed with a unique pink ink that allows the markers to appear radiolucent on a scan. These pink markers are designed flat to prevent indentation of patient tissue and eliminate artifacts.

I.Z. Port® Skin Markers
I.Z. Port® Skin Markers are designed to outline the treatment field when administrating Radiation Therapy. The Markers maintain accurate skin markings on the patient; this method is efficient for both the therapist and the patient. They are great for children who find the sticker-like appearance better than tattooing.
